Biography
Nicolaas Bloembergen (* March 11, 1920 in Dordrecht; † September 5, 2017 in Tucson) was a dutch-born American physicist. He was 97 years old. He was married to Huberta Deliana Brink. His education included Leiden University, Harvard University and Utrecht University. His faith was atheism. He received 10 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Nobel Prize in Physics. His cause of death was heart failure.
