Biography
Niklaus Wirth (* February 15, 1934 in Winterthur; † January 1, 2024 in Zurich) was a swiss computer scientist. He was 89 years old. His education included ETH Zurich, Laval University and University of California, Berkeley. He received 10 awards, including Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts order, Turing Award.
