Biography of Nikolai Alekseevich Smolyaninov

Nikolai Alekseevich Smolyaninov (* 8. May 1885 in Moscow; † 1. January 1957 in Moscow) was a mineralogist, Moscow University. He was 71 years old. He studied at Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Moscow Imperial University. He worked at Russian State Geological Prospecting University and Moscow State University Faculty of Geology. He received 5 awards, including Order of Lenin, Order of the Badge of Honour. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
