Biography of Octav Onicescu

Octav Onicescu (* 20. August 1892 in Botoșani; † 19. August 1983 in Bucharest) was a rumänischer Mathematiker und Statistiker. He was 90 years old. His education included University of Bucharest, Sapienza University of Rome, A. T. Laurian National College and University of Paris. He worked at University of Bucharest. He was awarded the State Prize of the Romanian People's Republic.
