Biography of Oleg Grigorjewitsch Kononenko

Oleg Grigorjewitsch Kononenko (* 16. August 1938 in Samarskoye, Rostov Oblast; † 8. September 1980 in South China Sea) was a soviet test pilot. He was 42 years old. His education included Fedotov Test Pilot School and Moscow Aviation Institute. He worked at Gromov Flight Research Institute. His awards include Order of Lenin and Master of Sport of the USSR. He was buried at Bykovo cemetery.
