Biography of Oleksandr Halkin

Oleksandr Halkin (* 4. July 1914 in Berdiansk; † 22. October 1982 in Donetsk) was an ukrainischer Festkörperphysiker und Hochschullehrer. He was 68 years old. He studied at National University of Kharkiv. He worked at Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology, B Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering and Donetsk Institute for Physics and Technology. His awards include State Prize of Ukrainian SSR in Science and Technology, Order of the Red Banner of Labour and Honoured worker in science and technology of the Ukrainian SSR.
