Biography
Oscar Peterson (* August 15, 1925 in Montreal; † December 23, 2007 in Mississauga) was a canadian jazz pianist. He was 82 years old. His education included The Royal Conservatory of Music and High School of Montreal. He received 10 awards, including Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Governor General's Performing Arts Award. His cause of death was kidney failure. He was buried at Erindale.
