Biography of Othenio Abel

Othenio Abel (* 20. June 1875 in Vienna; † 4. July 1946 in Mondsee) was a österreichischer Paläontologe und Evolutionsbiologe. He was 71 years old. He had at least 2 children (1 son and 1 daughter). He studied at University of Vienna. He worked at University of Vienna and University of Göttingen. His awards include Bigsby Medal, Daniel Giraud Elliot Medal and Erzherzog Rainer-Medaille.
