Patrice Chéreau (* November 2, 1944 in Lézigné; † October 7, 2013 in Paris) was a french opera and theatre director, filmmaker, actor and producer. He was 68 years old. He studied at Lycée Louis-le-Grand. He received 7 awards, including Jury Prize, Golden Bear. His cause of death was lung cancer. He was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
