Paul Auster (* February 3, 1947 in Newark; † April 30, 2024 in New York City) was an american novelist, poet, essayist, screenwriter. He was 77 years old. He was married to Lydia Davis and Siri Hustvedt. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included Columbia University and Columbia High School. He received 8 awards, including Princess of Asturias Literary Prize, Prix Médicis étranger. His cause of death was lung cancer. He was buried at Green-Wood Cemetery.
