Biography of Paul Lemerle

Paul Lemerle (* 22. April 1903 in Paris; † 17. July 1989 in Paris) was a französischer Byzantinist. He was 86 years old. He worked at French School at Athens, Collège de France, University of Paris and École pratique des hautes études. He was awarded the Corresponding Fellow of the Medieval Academy of America.
