Paul Ricœur (* February 27, 1913 in Valence; † May 20, 2005 in Châtenay-Malabry) was a french philosopher. He was 92 years old. His education included University of Rennes, Émile Zola school in Rennes, Faculty of Arts of Paris and University of Paris. His faith was Protestantism. He received 10 awards, including Balzan Prize, Karl Jaspers Prize.
