Pavol Demitra (* November 29, 1974 in Dubnica nad Váhom; †September 7, 2011 in Tunoshna) was a slovak ice hockey center and Olympian. He was 36 years old. His awards include Hokejista roka, Most useful player of the Tipsport Liga and Lady Byng Memorial Trophy. His cause of death was aviation accident.
