Biography of Pawel Alexejewitsch Tscherenkow

Pawel Alexejewitsch Tscherenkow (* 28. July 1904 in Novaya Chigla; † 6. January 1990 in Moscow) was a russischer Physiker. He was 85 years old. He studied at Voronezh State University. He worked at Lebedev Physical Institute, Moscow Power Engineering Institute and National Research Nuclear University. He received 10 awards, including State Stalin Prize, 1st degree, USSR State Prize. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
