Biography of Pawel Iwanowitsch Basmanow

Pawel Iwanowitsch Basmanow (* 3. January 1906 in Astana; † 5. September 1993 in Saint Petersburg) was a russian painter. He was 87 years old. He studied at St. Petersburg art school by Rerikh N.K.. His awards include Medal "For the Defence of Leningrad", Order of the Red Star and Order of the Patriotic War, 1st class. He was buried at Serafimovskoe Cemetery.
