Penelope Fitzgerald (* December 17, 1916 in Lincoln; † April 28, 2000 in London) was a british writer and poet. She was 83 years old. She studied at Somerville College. Her awards include Booker Prize and National Book Critics Circle Award for Fiction. She was buried at Hampstead Cemetery.
