Biography of Peter Paul Rubens

Peter Paul Rubens (* 28. June 1577 in Siegen; † 30. May 1640 in Antwerp) was a flämischer Barockmaler. He was 62 years old. He was married to Isabella Brant and Hélène Fourment. He had at least 4 children (2 sons and 2 daughters). His education included University of Cambridge and Old University of Leuven. He worked at Albert VII, Archduke of Austria, Vincenzo Gonzaga and Marie de' Medici. His faith was Catholicism. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at St. James' Church, Antwerp.
