Peter Straub (* March 2, 1943 in Milwaukee; † September 4, 2022 in New York City) was an american novelist and poet. He was 79 years old. His education included University of Wisconsin–Madison, Columbia University and Milwaukee Country Day School. He received 6 awards, including August Derleth Award, World Fantasy Award for Best Novel.
