Philip Morrison (* November 7, 1915 in Somerville; † April 22, 2005 in Cambridge) was an american astrophysicist. He was 89 years old. He was married to Emily Morrison. His education included Carnegie Mellon University and University of California, Berkeley. He received 5 awards, including William Procter Prize for Scientific Achievement, Oersted Medal.
