Biography
Philip Roth (* March 19, 1933 in Newark; † May 22, 2018 in Manhattan) was an american novelist. He was 85 years old. He was married to Claire Bloom. His education included Rutgers University, Weequahic High School, University of Chicago and Bucknell University. His faith was Judaism. He received 9 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, National Medal of Arts. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at Bard College Cemetery.
