Pierre Barral (* 16. October 1926 in 14th arrondissement of Paris; † 10. May 2025 in Toulouse) was a french historian. He was 98 years old. His education included Lycée Lakanal and Faculty of Arts of Paris. He worked at Paul-Valéry University (Montpellier, 1970-2024). He was awarded the Prix Thiers.
