Biography of Pierre Goubert

Pierre Goubert (* 25. January 1915 in Saumur; † 16. January 2012 in Issy-les-Moulineaux) was a französischer Historiker. He was 96 years old. His education included École normale supérieure de lettres et sciences humaines and University of Paris. He worked at University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, École pratique des hautes études, National Center for Scientific Research, University of Rennes and Paris Nanterre University. His awards include Grand Prix Gobert, Pierre Lafue Prize and Prix Thérouanne.
