Biography of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (* 1. May 1881 in château of Sarcenat; † 10. April 1955 in New York City) was a französischer Jesuit, Theologe, Philosoph, Anthropologe, Geologe und Paläontologe. He was 73 years old. His education included University of Paris, Villanova University and Notre Dame de Mongré High School. His faith was Catholicism. He received 5 awards, including Officer of the Legion of Honour, Mendel Medal. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at St. Andrew-on-Hudson Cemetery.
