Biography
Pierre Vidal-Naquet (* July 23, 1930 in 7th arrondissement of Paris; † July 29, 2006 in Nice) was a french historian. He was 76 years old. His education included Lycée Thiers, Lycée Henri-IV, Lycée Carnot and University of Paris. His awards include Commander of the Order of the Phoenix, Prix Mottart and Knight of the French Order of Academic Palms. His cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage. He was buried at Fayence.
