Piers Sellers (* April 11, 1955 in Crowborough; † December 23, 2016 in Houston) was a british-born American astronaut. He was 61 years old. His education included University of Edinburgh, University of Leeds and Cranbrook School. His awards include Fellow of the American Geophysical Union and Henry G. Houghton Award. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
