Fernando Solanas (* February 16, 1936 in Olivos; † November 6, 2020 in Paris) was an argentine film director, screenwriter and politician. He was 84 years old. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship, Sutherland Trophy and Cannes Best Director Award. His cause of death was COVID-19.
