Biography of R. Venkataraman

R. Venkataraman (* 4. December 1910 in Thanjavur district; † 27. January 2009 in New Delhi) was a president of India from 1987 to 1992. He was 98 years old. He was married to Janaki Venkataraman. His education included Loyola College and University of Madras. His faith was Hinduism. He was awarded the Light of Truth Award. His cause of death was multiple organ dysfunction syndrome.
