Rafael Caldera (* January 24, 1916 in San Felipe; † December 24, 2009 in Caracas) was a president of Venezuela from 1969 to 1974 kai from 1994 to 1999. He was 93 years old. He was married to Alicia Pietri. He had 6 children. He studied at Central University of Venezuela. His faith was Catholicism. He received 5 awards, including Grand Cross of the Order of Charles III, honorary doctor of the Renmin University of China. His cause of death was Parkinson's disease. He was buried at East Cemetery.
