Raimon Panikkar (* November 2, 1918 in Barcelona; † August 26, 2010 in Tavertet) was a spanish-Indian Catholic priest and theologian. He was 91 years old. His education included University of Mysore, University of Bonn, Banaras Hindu University, Complutense University of Madrid, University of Barcelona and Pontifical Lateran University. His faith was Catholic Church. His awards include Saint George's Cross, honorary doctor of the University of Girona and honorary doctorate of the University of the Balearic Islands.
