Biography of Ralph Ellison

Ralph Ellison (* 1. March 1914 in Oklahoma City; † 16. April 1994 in New York City) was an amerikanischer Autor. He was 80 years old. His education included Tuskegee University and Frederick A. Douglass High School. He worked at New York University. He received 6 awards, including National Medal of Arts, Presidential Medal of Freedom. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer. He was buried at Trinity Church Cemetery and Mausoleum.
