Biography
Ralph Steinman (* January 14, 1943 in Montreal; † September 30, 2011 in Manhattan) was a canadian immunologist and cell biologist. He was 68 years old. His education included Harvard Medical School, McGill University and The Rockefeller University. His faith was Judaism. He received 10 awards, including Albert Lasker Award for Basic Medical Research, Canada Gairdner International Award. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
