Biography of Ralph R. Shaw

Ralph R. Shaw (* 18. May 1907 in Detroit; † 14. October 1972 in Honolulu) was an american librarian and publisher. He was 65 years old. His education included University of Chicago, Case Western Reserve University, Columbia University School of Library Service and University of Chicago Graduate Library School. He worked at Rutgers University, United States Department of Agriculture and University of Hawaiʻi System. His awards include Library Hall of Fame, ALA Medal of Excellence and American Library Association Honorary Membership. He was buried at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
