Biography of Raul Hilberg

Raul Hilberg (* 2. June 1926 in Vienna; † 4. August 2007 in Williston) was an austrian-born American political scientist and historian. He was 81 years old. His education included Columbia University, Brooklyn College, City University of New York and Abraham Lincoln High School. His faith was atheism. He received 7 awards, including Geschwister-Scholl-Preis, Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. His cause of death was lung cancer.
