Biography
Raúl Ruiz (* July 25, 1941 in Puerto Montt; † August 19, 2011 in 12th arrondissement of Paris) was a filmmaker. He was 70 years old. He was married to Valeria Sarmiento. He studied at University of Chile. He received 8 awards, including César Award for Best Fiction Short Film, Silver Bear for an outstanding artistic contribution. His cause of death was liver cancer.
