Biography of René Doumic

René Doumic (* 7. March 1860 in 2nd arrondissement of Paris; † 2. December 1937 in 7th arrondissement of Paris) was a französischer Literaturhistoriker und -kritiker. He was 77 years old. He was married to Hélène de Heredia. His education included Lycée Condorcet and École Normale Supérieure. He worked at Collège Stanislas de Paris. His awards include Commander of the Legion of Honour, Montyon Prize and Alfred Née Award. He was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
