Biography of Richard Holbrooke

Richard Holbrooke (* 24. April 1941 in New York City; † 13. December 2010 in Washington, D.C.) was an american diplomat. He was 69 years old. He was married to Kati Marton. His education included Brown University, Princeton University, Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and Scarsdale High School. He received 10 awards, including Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Manfred Wörner Medal. His cause of death was aortic dissection. He was buried at Oakland Cemetery.
