Richard S. Hamilton (* December 19, 1943 in Cincinnati; † September 29, 2024 in New York City) was an american mathematician. He was 80 years old. His education included Princeton University, Yale University and Walnut Hills High School. He received 5 awards, including Oswald Veblen Prize in Geometry, Shaw Prize.
