Richard Theodore Greener (* 30. January 1844 in Philadelphia; † 15. May 1922 in Chicago) was a scholar, diplomat, attorney, and the first African-American graduate of Harvard University and Phillips Academy Andover. He was 78 years old. His education included Phillips Academy, Harvard Law School, Oberlin College, Harvard College and Oberlin Academy. He worked at Howard University. He was buried at Graceland Cemetery.
