Richard Wilbur (* March 1, 1921 in New York City; † October 14, 2017 in Belmont) was an american poet. He was 96 years old. His education included Amherst College, Harvard University and Montclair High School. He received 10 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Rome Prize. He was buried at Dawes Cemetery.
