Biography of Richard Yates

Richard Yates (* 3. February 1926 in Yonkers; † 7. November 1992 in Birmingham) was an amerikanischer Schriftsteller. He was 66 years old. He studied at Avon Old Farms School. He worked at University of Southern California, Columbia University, Boston University and University of Vermont. He was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship. His cause of death was pulmonary emphysema.
