Biography
Robert Bruce Merrifield (* July 15, 1921 in Fort Worth; † May 14, 2006 in Cresskill) was an american biochemist. He was 84 years old. His education included University of California, Los Angeles, Montebello High School and Pasadena City College. He received 9 awards, including Albert Lasker Award for Basic Medical Research, Canada Gairdner International Award. He was buried at Brookside Cemetery.
