Robert Edwards (* September 27, 1925 in Batley; † April 10, 2013 in Cambridge) was an english physiologist and pioneer in reproductive medicine and in-vitro fertilisation. He was 87 years old. He was married to Ruth Fowler Edwards. His education included Bangor University and University of Edinburgh. He received 8 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society, Lasker-DeBakey Clinical Medical Research Award. His cause of death was disease. He was buried at Elmwood Cemetery.
