Robert H. MacArthur (* 7. April 1930 in Toronto; † 1. November 1972 in Princeton) was an uS-amerikanischer Ökologe. He was 42 years old. His education included Brown University, Yale University and Marlboro College. He worked at Princeton University and University of Pennsylvania. His awards include Eminent Ecologist Award and George Mercer Award. His cause of death was kidney disease.
