Biography
Robert K. Merton (* July 4, 1910 in Philadelphia; † February 23, 2003 in New York City) was an american sociologist. He was 92 years old. He was married to Harriet Zuckerman. His education included Temple University, Harvard University and South Philadelphia High School. He received 9 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, MacArthur Fellows Program.
