Robert McNamara (* June 9, 1916 in San Francisco; † July 6, 2009 in Washington, D.C.) was an american businessman and Secretary of Defense. He was 93 years old. He was married to Margaret McNamara. His education included University of California, Berkeley, Harvard Business School and Piedmont High School. His faith was Presbyterian Church. His awards include Presidential Medal of Freedom, Four Freedoms Award – Freedom from Want and The Hillman Prize for Book Journalism. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
