Robert T. Paine (* 13. April 1933 in Cambridge; † 13. June 2016 in Seattle) was an uS-amerikanischer Ökologe und Meeresbiologe. He was 83 years old. His education included Harvard University, University of Michigan and Scripps Institution of Oceanography. He worked at University of Washington. He received 7 awards, including ASN Award for Distinguished Achievement in the Conceptual Unification of the Biological Sciences, International Cosmos Prize. His cause of death was tumor of hematopoietic and lymphoid tissues.
