Biography of Roger Caillois

Roger Caillois (* 3. March 1913 in Reims; † 21. December 1978 in Le Kremlin-Bicêtre) was a französischer Schriftsteller und Philosoph. He was 65 years old. His education included Lycée Louis-le-Grand, École Normale Supérieure and École pratique des hautes études. He worked at United Nations. He received 4 awards, including Officer of the Legion of Honour, Prix Européen de l'Essai Charles Veillon. He was buried at Montparnasse Cemetery.
