Biography of Roger Lhermitte

Roger Lhermitte (* 28. May 1920 in Jouars-Pontchartrain; † 21. November 2016 in Miami) was a french meteorologist specialized in Doppler weather radar. He was 96 years old. He studied at Science Faculty of Paris. He worked at Météo-France, Air Force Research Laboratory, Sperry Corporation, National Severe Storms Laboratory, Earth System Research Laboratory and University of Miami. He was awarded the J. C. Stevens Award.
