Biography of Rolf Landauer

Rolf Landauer (* 4. February 1927 in Stuttgart; † 27. April 1999 in Westchester County) was a deutsch-amerikanischer Physiker und Informationswissenschaftler. He was 72 years old. His education included Harvard University and Stuyvesant High School. He worked at IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center. He received 7 awards, including IBM Fellow, Edison Medal. His cause of death was cancer.
