Biography of Roma Mitchell

Roma Mitchell (* 2. October 1913 in Adelaide; † 5. March 2000 in Adelaide) was an australische Richterin und Gouverneurin von South Australia. She was 86 years old. Her education included St Aloysius College and University of Adelaide. She worked at Adelaide Law School, Australian Human Rights Commission and Supreme Court of South Australia. Her faith was Catholicism. She received 6 awards, including Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire. Her cause of death was bone cancer. She was buried at Centennial Park Cemetery.
